Shahzad Zer

Zar began his artistic journey as a self-taught painter, later refining his skills under the mentorship of Syed Ali Imam, a pioneer of modern art in Pakistan. In 1999, he showcased his first solo exhibition at the esteemed Indus Art Gallery. Since then, Shahzad Zar’s modern calligraphies, and diverse works across multiple media have gained recognition worldwide. His pieces adorn some of the most significant collections of South Asian art globally.
