Momoko Nozaki
Momoko Nozaki is a multidisciplinary designer and artist with a background in fashion design from the esteemed Kuwasawa Design School in Tokyo. During her academic years, she actively engaged in the performing arts and fashion community, designing costumes for the Sophia University dance club and contributing to various theater productions and group exhibitions. These early experiences laid a strong foundation in creative expression and craftsmanship. After completing her studies, she worked as a product designer for a lifestyle goods company, where she gained valuable insights into commercial design and market trends. As part of a company-sponsored training program, she studied in the United Kingdom, an experience that enriched her perspective and deepened her appreciation for cross-cultural aesthetics. Relocating to Pakistan after marriage, her artistic journey evolved through new cultural influences. Drawing inspiration from the region’s vibrant colors and rich textile traditions, she began creating and selling intricately designed icing cookies, as well as handcrafted bags and accessories featuring traditional Pakistani embroidered ribbons. Her current body of work reflects a harmonious fusion of Japanese minimalism and South Asian craftsmanship, with a focus on connecting cultures through thoughtful design and handmade artistry.
